I am absolutely in love with this design for our hats! I’m calling it our Empress Collection. It’s elegant, and rich, and just oozes sophistication! I love it so much that I am making many different versions of this hat, so be sure to check out all the wonderful color combinations and themes. This hat is made from a beautiful black and white harlequin diamond fabric as well a rich black fabric for the top and brim, trimmed in black conso gimp braid, and fully lined. It is adorned with a red satin ribbon band with sculptural accents, a lovely metal rose and filigree piece, two gorgeous hat pins, and red and white feathers that move wonderfully. Size: This is one of our large sized mini top hats. The wee top hat itself measures about 4 ¾ inches tall, and the brim is 6 inches wide. The embellishments may extend further off the hat. She sure looks cute on this little hat though! It is loaded down with tons of paper flowers a couple of mushrooms and some pretty royal hat pins. Great for that Mad Tea Party! A comfortable elastic band of your choice of color is attached. I find that the elastic band really keeps these little hats on your head and is, in my opinion, the most comfortable to wear and the most versatile. With the elastic you have your choice of wearing it on the right or left side of your head or directly in the center.

Handmade in milliners quality buckram and covered in your choice of fabric, your top hat brim will be strengthened with millinery wire and trimmed with satin bias binding. Your finished base hat will then decorated with your choice of decorations, from a mixture of lace, flowers, ribbons, rosettes, charms, laser cut decorations, buttons, bows and hand curled feathers. This Queen of Hearts / Alice In Wonderland / Mad Hatter inspired Mini Top hat is around 14cm round and 8cm tall & is secured to your head with a comfortable black elastic head band. I find that the elastic really keeps these little hats on your head and stays in place all day. I wear them to the races and themed parties all the time and forget they are even on my head. You can wear it either side or in the centre. These hats are very sturdy and if kept in a cloth or plastic bag away from dust will last for a very long time.
