Princess Crown Mosaic Art
For the queen or princess in your life...even if that happens to be you. It was so fun making this crown using a new colour combination for me, all inspired by one vintage earring. A mixture of found and recycled pearl and rhinestone necklaces make up this pretty piece. The crown shape is made up of faux pearls in shades of white, cream, and turquoise as well as rhinestones in two shades of blue and clear. The diadem at the peak is an old cream enamel and blue rhinestone earring. The two pearl diadems surrounding it were from an old necklace and are a pale, pale ice blue. The ornate frame is also thrifted that I have primed and painted beautiful pastel blue. The background is painted tropical seas blue. The area under the pearls is pale blue topped with blue glitter, a few of which have made a small escape. It is ready to hang or sits nicely on an easel for your tabletop. The frame measures 7 1/2" x 6 1/2". Picture measures 4 1/2" x 3 3/4".

Love the funky mix of colours in this crown. Perfect for a nursery or anywhere in your home, for princesses young and old (er). The ornate frame is lightweight plastic that is painted and sealed beautiful pastel blue. The background is painted mango orange. The area under the pearls is painted pink topped with pretty pink glitter. The top diadem bead of the crown is swirly creamsicle orange from a vintage necklace measuring 3/4" diameter. It is surrounded by two smaller watermelon pink beads from a old bracelet.
